I called my CFCS patient who happened to be a Hindu, and he was admitted to hospital again. =( Got transfered somemore, anonym to promotion, to higher centre in KL – UMMC, fom Seremban GH. Well, let’s keep it private regarding his condition. Latest update, he is being discharged out from UMMC soon, and it is a relieve to me and I am sure it leaves a very big impact on him.

And of sudden, our Msia folks were dazzled by fine tremors in their home esp cities like KL on 30th September 2009, causing a huge stir among the nations. It later turned out to be a magnitude of  7.6  Ritcher scale’s earthquake in Padang, Sumatra.  Thousands dead, hundreds thousands of families affected which total up to millions of ppl losing their hope to live on, not to mention those who lost their beloved ones.

Merely 1 week before that, Ketsana made its landfall to a few countries namely China, Philipines, Vietnam…Again, thousand got affected, if not millions, soon to be.

Let’s hope this celebration of Light of triumph over the darkness, be able to reach those less fotunate ones out there, enlightening their lives for betterment, and redeem their spirit when it is at their lowest point of life. There’s always light in the end of darkest tunnel. =)

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Hindu machas, friends, colleagues, lecturers, thambis, tang ge chis..

And so they dropped da’ bomb that me and my friends been waiting for, for this entire period of nothing-ness..

It was last week, one fine peaceful morning echoed with magpies chirps, mist which enveloped the serene resident area of mine, smiles and laughter of little children heard over my varendah….

and then suddenly one FB caption msg from a friend : Induction letter!!! ….. Tat’s it. It was a siren call when Pearl Harbour got their first strike by the Japanese during WWII. And it further continues with bombardments of speculations among our friends in FB..missiles, tanks,C4…watever..

All of us were suddenly flabbergasted by the news and started waiting eagerly for the letters in their houses respectively, some dun even dare to go toilet, some cannot eat..starving, as if all hell breaks loose, jus to wait for the letter. It is amusing actually, to me. Well, and so by the time the sun touched down the horizon, most of us already got the letter.

The letter is actually induction letter by our employer, to ask us to attend a brainwashing course, to kamcheng with our employer. And our employer is of course none other than…government lo. On top of this, we were already acknowledged from our seniors that right after this course, we hav to report right away to our respective hospitals in a day or 2. So in conclusion, its calling from hell, to the angels and fairies in heaven… to enter hell lo. XD

Not many friends of mine know bout this..tat I’m a fan of MJ. While i was drivng yesterday, suddenly one of his classic was played on the radio, and it made me recall bout him. Recall bout times growing up with his songs when he was already a legend.

And on top of everything, I am missing him dearly.

And out of sudden, i have this impulsiveness to try to do something at least as a fan of his for, sort of a tribute to him. Well, i know it is already 214333432 years since he left us. I enjoy doing this.

Last Monday (28th Sept 09) – Wednesday (30th Sept 09) was our very own IMU Alumni activity. Name it as 1st IMU Alumni Retreat. This event is the first major event which is organized for students of IMU, targeting the recent schol-leavers like me. Since I am so free wandering nowadays, I take no chance to miss this event.

Not bad rite..Awesome rite ? The organizers made the effort to scout around resorts, inns, hotels around port dickson and finally ended up opting this place. The Residence Resort. Just a stone throw away from our Port Dickson Hospital. Overall, i think the pic tat was taken by Gabriel might hav lifted up grades for this resort. It is being over-rated by this pic judging from the experience of staying there for 3 days.

And so..wat’s all about within these 3 days in this Retreat?..

The very first day, we were given a talk, well.. mannies mannies talkss by a Financial Consultant specializing in Unit Trust, Mr.Jeffrey Cheah from Penang. From morning till night, its all about financial prudence, but honestly i would think that it is slightly deviated a bit more on Unit Trust. Of course, we also learnt about other types of investment e.g; shares market, Amanah Saham, FD, and doing our own business.

That is Mr.Jeffrey. Credits goes to him for the first day as we learnt quite a lot from him, of how to make money works for us rather than we work for money. He knows his stuff well, and i am sure he definitely updates his background homeworks from time to time. If u guys out there who hav doubts on mamaging crops u’ve reaped, he is the one u can go after. Look for me for his contact

Second day, and it was written Grooming and Fashion by Chapter One. Chapter One?? Who the hell it is? Or they?? We were all naive i would say. Maybe we were too doomed into medical field that we dun really care much of all happenings in Msia. Well, Chapter One is an image and skills consultancy firm in Malaysia. They provide professional image services to professionals, corporations, and individuals in areas of image management, communication and etiquette and protocol skills. More about them click HERE.

Part of the session, we were all taught ways of dressing for everyday business purpose, which is very much relevant for us. She is Miss Josephine, guiding us the correct way to dress up the way it is, or on the other way round, to point us how much we hav been wrong in dressing up formal style all these years. It was an eye opener, and it gives me a boost of confidence to stand up the rest next time when i am working. But, this session cost a bomb, u know.

So next, Chinese opera session…by us… XD

Ending this session, boys were also to cleanse, scrub and do mask in front of them, making sure we are doing the correct way. And we were as radiant as before… =)

While we were so busy with all those jobs, the gals…

Its quite good u know, as Miss Josephine able to giv one on one session with them as the gals’ group isn’t a big one. I am sure the gals benefited this the most of all the 3 days.

2nd day was rather free, and we have time for leisure. So what to expect to do in P.Dickson? Beach! of course.

I brought along my volleyball, and it served us well. Beach volleyball, and i miss volleyball very much. We do really have fun among ourselves that evening while appreciating the serene sunset…

Nothing is better in this world than living without exams..=)

The last day of our stay, we were given a talk by our very own, Gabriel Tan or nowadays he is fond of being called Brother Tan. XD. He showed us wat he had learnt for these 3 years undertaking psychology as his part-time study. Its about Stress Management.

Guess wat, that morning, instead we expected to fish inside the hall after staying up late night before, he brought us to..

Seaside. Using our 5 senses…to release stress. Hehe.

The pro is doing the job.

I am sure this lesson will be very useful for us not for now of course, but later on when we are demoted as the lowest lifeform of microorganism pyramid- housemen.

Anyways, this retreat had serve us well. Not only we learnt so much, but it is sort of minute gathering among our batchmates.

 See, all of us still look as handsome as ever,as pretty as before if not prettier.

As time waits for no man, it’s time for us stay apart again. =(. But soon we will see each other again la.

Kudos to the organizers, Mr.Gabriel Tan, Dr.Cheah, Dr.Ng, Miss Aznah and few more others who had made those days for us.

Every year, without fail our nation as a Muslim country, celebrates the Celebration Day of Fasting grandly after the Ramadhan month ends. Apart from celebrating the end of fasting, the Syawal month also serves as an opportunity to reconcile and renew relationship with others.  This celebration had played a pertinent role even for the non-muslims in our country like me. Well, I for one really enjoy Malay food. We can see non-Muslim throng to the Ramadhan bazaar mostly everywhere in the country. We feasted altogether as Msian under one big roof in our Muslim friends’ open house too.

However lately, many things had happen in our country which had affected the pillar of strength which had brought us here today -unity. Bigotry and extremism from the cow-head incident, throwing down a poor boy from a building, politics instability over certain free trade issues and sacking ppl, endless corruptionsss,caning…are turning our nation’s progress and development to backward. It had caused not only domestic outcry, but international as well. Its turning into sad situation but well in some other way- it may be entertaining at times.

I am leaving for vacation tmr, yes finally!! And just before i leave, i would like to wish all my Muslim friends

I know i am bit early. But let’s hope this holy month of Ramadhan will end, celebrating the Syawal month as a  peace heed for our on-going issues =)

Its hard to stay with old people. Well, it’s not the just-retired old ppl i am saying, but to be exact – elderly. N by WHO definition, elderly is >60 yrs old. While elderly ppl had shown success in the socioeconomic developement, it also challenges the new generation for ppl  like us to adapt to them rather than vice-verse. Its always like tat, n thus maybe this is wat filial piety is about.

I never know i got such limited capacity of patience towards old ppl. It is put to test during this stay in KL for my holiday break before starting to work. It changed a new perspective of how i will deal with the elderly later on.  Lemme have my few words..

The elderly have 1 common trait among them, which is trying to prove that they are still useful. Yes, i wouldn’t agree more that most of the population among elderly are useful in many ways, well probably not as during their younger times but at least their functional capacity are still at the optimal level in a deteriorating trend. This trait is the one that i have the least patience to. While they try so hard to prove something that they stil can do, they never realize that more trouble are being created along the way of proving. And on top of it, any advice from the younger ppl will deemed as challenge to their capability. It will be disregarded as ‘looking down’ on them, and thus, they will take it hard, when we are actually trying to make things better for everyone. Its like, trying to keep the salted fishes dry when weather is pouring heavily. Instead of going against the rain and trying to collect as much as possible of those dried salted fishes, why not we get a huge water-proof cloth to cover them temporary, rite? Morover, sunshine gonna be there after the rain, if not tmr, rite??

I’ve tried before to intercept in a few times. But ended up in frustration to myself only. Not only troubles summing more and more, but what i got in the end were mere outburst of frustration and anger by the other individual which I have no place in defending back. So, trait no.2 that i’ve learnt is that, they are real sensitive ppl. Sensitive especially when they felt their functional capacity being challenged, in which it was never meant to from the beginning. Everything ended up in TOLERANCE. I believe the strategy towards this by defending, is a defenite no-no. Not only in tolerance, occasionally still i have to intercept in – but in stealth mode.

For now, i am already having depression over the food. And guess wat today, i took 2 lunches. I took McD for my second lunch which is meant for self patting effort, and also to stimulate my tastebud for bon appetite for once.

I prayed hard to never deal with Geriatrics in my future. *sigh*

I watched this video while i was mugging for my exam- days before it. For once, it helped me so much to laughed out my stress during that period. N this video was jus hot from oven during that period. 

Occasionally now and then, i stil watched this over n over again, and i am stil very entertained by it. Maybe my threshold for laughter is low. Ok, i’ll share it with u guys. N i am pretty some of u may already watched this.

So far, holidays had serve me well. I get to relax and lazying around at home, well of course i try to fill in my time as much as possible wit sports, entertainment, readings, and bla bla bla.

Last nite, Discovery channel showed an interesting documentary about this guy – The Fuhrer. Something like using the modern technology to solve the riddles of real way how Hitler died. It’s stil much debatable of whether he died of poisoning himself with cyanide capsule or shooting himself up.

Anyway, tat’s not the real big deal. And then, tat programme actually ignited my interest on story of this guy,his rise of power til his final day he take himself away. Well, I wud say he is actually a magnificient guy. Ok no more further comment, before i am caught by some German intelligence.

I spent this whole afternoon doing this….

Ok..I must admit tat i am not trying to idolise him. But it is jus a mere filling up my free time when i am too free. hehe.

I am trying not to waste my parent’s money sending me for art class last time too. Hehe. I know there’s stil much room of improvement, pls do leave some comment about this so tat i can improvise it. What u all think? (Its actually better viewed with the real one)

While sipping the cup of coffee bit by bit finishing off the last 3 pages of msgs in that bottle which my batchmates had wrote for me, I was entralled back to those days in IMU. I am starting to drift towards the acceptance phase tat i am already carrying a different title before my name. =) I know, it doesn’t mean a thing for now.

That day was a day to be remembered for once in my life. It was the day i ended my study life. Its the destination which I’ve lived for 19yrs, since at the age of 5 when i started my preschool education. Tat day was my graduation day. =)

I owed my achievement to this bunch of ppl around who’’s been with me even till now. My family. While most ppl may think that i am the eldest among my siblings but hey, I’m the middle one,k? No words can describe how grateful am i to them. Gracias~

Not forgetting my cousin, Darren who’s been with me since childhood yrs when running together naked in grandparent’s were still fond. :p. Some ppl say we look alike, but i think i am better, as always. Hehe.

I consider myself lucky to be able being conferred tat day, as one of the prominent person was conferred the same degree as i am, again. According to him, he ‘renewed’ his license of practising since 5+ yrs ago.

Yes, he is none other than our former PM, Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohammad. Well, considering in his 80s, he certainly looks more suave in real person than in any form of medias. Too bad, i was unable to have a personal pic wit Tun.

For once, everyone showed their teeth with a broad smile from an end to another end, every pic we took. Hat’s off C107! Its been such as journey with you guys, and thanks so much for all the msgs. 5 yrs growing wit u guys had played a very big role in my life’s journey. I shall miss u guys very very much!

On top of all, of course you, who made the most remarkable presence in my life =)

That night, we had our convocation dinner, which also served as a purpose of farewell to C107. The dinner was rather gloomy as we are aware that it may be the last time we are meeting each other again.

However, the dinner was enlightened with the presence of our very Dato’ Kew, a prominent figure in field of medicine in our country. Though she lamented that she had sleepless nights after getting my email that she was to give a speech to us, her speech was rather inspiring and helped us to guide us in our coming challenges.

2.5 yrs with these 3 handsome dudes had been tough, and thus we looked tough..hehe, yea rite..

That night everyone dressed up differently apart from the white lab coat that we used to wear; so prettily and handsomely. Gals were angels and guys were demons angels too. It was rather embarassing for those angels to pushed me and Fengy tat way. Pity me ;p.

That night not only celebrated our achievement, but also served a purpose as farewell to most of us. Again i must say, I do really miss u guys loads already. =(

For now, i’ll continue running, moving on to achieve more goals in life, awaiting me in front. Thanks much to IMU forever motto; ‘lifelong learning‘ . I know i look damn yeng in tat pic ;p
